Happy birthday Grandpa Perkins

Last Wednesday we celebrated my dad's birthday. We spent a couple days at my parents' house in Bear Lake partying with family.

Claire and cousin, Lily spent an entire day playing dress-up.

We just celebrated Claire's 4th birthday on Friday. Is my baby really four years old? It is sooo bittersweet. Happy birthday Claire!

Claire

She is our little princess. There is never a dull moment when Claire is around. She definitely has her opinions and doesn't hesitate sharing them. Claire loves participating in conversations with her mom and dad. When she gives us her input it usually is a really good idea. For example, tonight when she suggested to her mother: "If you don't like boys wearing tight girls' pants below their bum, then you probably should ignore them". She is a little book worm, spending countless hours reading (memorizing) book after book. She has the best memory ever. You only have to read her a book a couple times before she pretty much has it memorized. She changes her clothes at least three times a day and by the end of the day she is wearing only her skivies (almost as if she has given up her search of the "perfect" outfit). We love this little girl to pieces!

Stella

This little girl is seriously a ray of sunshine. Here are some pictures I took almost two months ago of Stella (her 9 month pics). Just a few of my favorites that I wanted to share. This kid is soooo much fun. She is at the cutest age and her personality is shining through more each day. She is so sweet. When we give her loves and pat her back, she returns the love by patting you repetitively, and sometimes spontaneously after you pick her up. She is super ticklish, so it's easy to make her giggle and squirm. When you ask: "How big is baby?", she responds by throwing her arms in the air for: "So big!". She just adores her big sister, Claire and brightens every time she sees her after waking up in the morning or after a nap. We just love this little girl and are so happy to share this life with her.

Spring has sprung

Today was absolutely beautiful! We went up the river trail for our first bike ride of the season, and boy did it feel nice. We didn't even need jackets! Stella seemed to really enjoy her ride in the chariot and Claire was the cutest, sweetest big sister. She had her arm around Stella the entire time, "protecting her from the bumps." Claire also made sure that Stella stayed hydrated or pacified (by the binky, of course).

New office

I am moving from a lame down town no window office to this 1300+ square foot one. I think I like it. I will be installing personal parking stall signage in the next few days so that no body takes the spot closest to the door. I christened it today by leaking about a half quart of oil from my truck.

Finally!

Yes, I, Amy have finally started a blog. This may not seem that amazing, but for those of you who really know me, know this is a GIANT step into the world of electronic technology for me. Considering that it was only a mere six months ago that I even claimed an e-mail address as my own. I am not computer savvy in any way, shape or form, so it took me a while to believe that setting this up would be "simple". I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at everyone else's blogs (it's a great way to keep in touch) and am excited to show a little reciprocity, so here goes......... enjoy.
