DC

She was into thumb sucking at this age (5 mos)... not so much anymore.
Kinda sad, I thought it was cute. Probably better in the long run though.

View from the bottom of the Washington Monument.
(Adam was lying on his back, on the ground)

Laura was about seven months prego at the time. It was sooooo abnormally HOT while we were there, but she was a trooper!

The end of July we took a trip to Washington DC to visit Laura & Drew.
Drew is learning everything he needs to know about working for the foreign service in Montenegro (they are both learning the language as well) because they will be living there for two years.
We left Claire & Stella home with my parents.
As you can see, we took Harper with us.
Harper did okay on the airplane. I wouldn't say she's the best traveler, but definitely could be worse.
We had a grand time! Laura & Drew step it up while hosting & really know how to show you a good time. Thanks guys!

Boating

Love this captured moment!
Claire & Adam on the wake board.
Stella did this once & I wasn't even there to witness it! Adam didn't have the camera & we couldn't get her to do it again.
Darn strap! Almost ruined this beautiful sunset pic of Adam skiing.
Mowah.

Lagoon

Old white, rickety roller coaster... we love you!
Our little thrill seeker!
Don't let the facial expression fool you... Claire loved every min of it!!
Stella spent A LOT of time on the merry-go-round.
Harper was a trooper even though she spent the majority of her day in the stroller.
Train ride for Robi, Stella & Lily.

She's a fish! ... almost

The beginning of July, Stella took her first official swim lessons.
She's VERY cautious around water.
I was worried she would be too scared to even get off the stairs.
I was pleasantly surprised.
She was very brave & really enjoyed herself!

Sun Valley Idaho

The annual Edward Jones Summer regionals were spent here, the last weekend of June.

After the awards dinner.

We had a great time, as usual.
I guess Harper was always sleeping when we snapped photos... bummer.

Just a bit of Summer fun

Claire practiced snorkeling in the tub.
She got real good at it and tried Bear Lake.
She loved it!!
"Warm, warm weather makes me smile, makes me happy, love the Summer... yes I do!!"

Wouldn't be Summer without sprinklers under the trampoline.

Harper just enjoyed time outside, chillin' in this swing.

A LOT of time was spent doing this while camping...

Harper with my niece, Keeler. scout mtn. (4th of July weekend)

How many can you fit in one small hammock?
One adult,
six children,
one infant
and one miniature schnauzer.

My sweet husband

June is Adam's month...
we celebrate both his birthday & Father's day.
He is the best Daddy to these girls!!
They adore him.
So do I!
He has so much patience for all of us.
We LOVE him tons!

Aunt Laura's quick visit

Adam's sister visited a couple of days in May.
She lives in DC.
She was five months prego & looking fab!
It was good having her, even though it was super quick.

Stella turns 3

We celebrated Stella & Robi's (my niece) birthdays together since they are both in May.
They wanted to go to Lava Hot Springs to eat pizza & swim until they were shriveled & completely pruned.

I did not get a single swimming pic, which I am soooo bummed about!
I guess we were having too much fun for photo ops.

The awesome cake (complements of my sister, Kristin)

Never mind Stella's ensemble... she insisted & it was HER birthday after all.

Happy birthday sweet girl! Love ya "big" Sissie!
