Spring hollow

A couple of weekends ago, we decided to enjoy Mother nature and take a little hike up Spring hollow in Logan canyon. Adam proposed to me on this trail (just a little FYI). It is sooooo beautiful this time of year, because everything is very green and lush. We took this little jaunt while Adam's family was visiting, but I never had the chance to actually walk down and check out the area where the water is escaping from the earth. It is a- maz- ing! I've seen it before but it just amazes me every time. Of course we had to fill up our water bottle with the ice cold, oh so fresh H2o! It is crazy how much water is created out of these two small areas combined, there must be a lot of force, for sure.

Right above my head is one of the springs.

Taking a break. After all, it is taxing being hauled in that carrier everywhere.

I love this cute little tender moment!

Check out the view behind us, it was so pretty! Of course the picture doesn't do it justice.

Claire was practicing her photography skills here.

The graduate

Claire graduated from Melody Lane Preschool on Monday, May 18th. It didn't seem to phase her that it was the end of preschool for good, that she would NEVER go back. Me on the other hand, I had to hold back tears. How pathetic, to almost cry at PRESCHOOL graduation? The first day of kindergarten should be very interesting, indeed.

The class of 2022..... how weird is that?

Whenever I would pick up Claire from school on a nice day when the kids were playing outside, I would always find her in this little house. It was her favorite toy on the playground, she loved it.

Guess who's two?

Hmmm, let me think.

I am!

The cake.

Stella turned 2 on the 16th of May. We had a BBQ party with Adam's family.

She loved blowing out the candles. She wanted to do it over and over again.

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to.

Uncle Jason tried to save Stella from eating a dirty piece of cake she had dropped, by swiping it before she picked it up. It broke Stella's tender little heart. Adam looks very sympathetic, don't you think?

Anderson family get together

May 13 -17, we had most of Adam's family here for a visit. Adam's Mom, Judith and his sister, Erin with her husband, Sam came from San Diego. Adam's two brother's, Jared (from Las Vegas) and Jason with his wife, Danielle and their son, Nathan from Seattle. We had a fabulous time hosting, visiting and catching up, we're always sad to see them go.

Cousins, hangin' out at great Grandma Lula's home.

Swingin' with the help of uncle Sam and aunt Erin.

Great Grandma Lula with Grandma Judy (as the human coat and bag hanger) relaxing while the kids enjoy the park.

We hiked up Spring Hollow to get some family pictures taken. These next couple of photos were taken before we started up the trail. I forget how beautiful it is here, especially this time of year.

I really like this picture, it was good to see them all together, it does not happen often enough.
